‘In Colors Abstract’ is a labor of love between friends and collaborators during the moment of isolation and lockdown that we all experienced from 2020-2022. Started as a project to keep my mind occupied and help process traumatic events, I began with just parts and clips of tracks that were then sent to various other artists and friends to collaborate and finish together.
The title refers to the way words often escape us in moments of both extreme joy or sorrow and we often experience things abstractly at first, needing time to process and adjust our perspectives or mindset. In that there is a double meaning, in the blending of our different ideas and process to create a body of work that would speak as one from the many.
